Directions/Map Back to Top
From Paris court square, take 79 East toward Dover approximately 15 miles to TVA Access Road. Turn right (South) on TVA Access Road and follow it for approximately 1/2 mile until you reach a sign reading "Scarbrough Cemetery." There should be a gate as well. The road beyond this gate can be treacherous in wet conditions, so be aware if you are driving on. The cemetery is up the path about 60 yards.

Travel time from Paris Court Square is approximately 20-25 minutes.

Condition Back to Top
The Scarbrough Cemetery is located on a hill off TVA Access Road between 79 and the present-day golf course. It is quite a secluded location which probably explains the carved graffiti left in a nearby tree by what seems to be local high school students (see ambient photos). The cemetery is reasonably maintained (a small handful of broken stones), in excellent condition and, noting recent burials, is still active to this day.
