The Ratterree Cemetery sits a bit back from Ratteree Road, surrounded mostly on three sides by woods. Its location is very peaceful and removed from the noise of society. Size is large for such a remote cemetery, but lends to the belief that it started as only a family plot and soon became a major community burial ground. It is still quietly active. The cemetery seems to benefit from regular care and only shows only a few damaged stones. Overall, condition is excellent.
