From Paris court square, take 79 East toward Dover approximately 4 miles to Highway 218 Bypass. Turn right (South) on Highway 218 Bypass and follow for approximately 1 and 1/2 mile to County Home Road. Follow County Home Road for just less than a mile and turn right (East) on Wimberley Road. Wimberley Road will bend sharply to the left and then sharply to the right. From here, after about 200 yards and before the next sharp bend to the left, the Ralls Cemetery will appear on your left.

Travel time from Paris Court Square is approximately 15-20 minutes.

Condition Back to Top
The Ralls Cemetery is located on a quiet, recently paved Wimberley Road in the area just East of Highway 218 Bypass and its intersecion with County Home Road. This must be some of the most peaceful, untouched pastoral areas in Henry County. The woods give way to grassy pastures where the breezes blow very gently. I have remarked more than once to my wife that it is nice to drive these roads. The cemetery is located across the street from a small family home built sometime in the last couple of decades. Two of their dogs kept us company while we photographed the cemetery. The cemetery itself seems to have suffered some neglect in the past century with a handful of broken stones. The good news is that the cemetery is not grown up and treacherous so it does seem to benefit from some regular care today. Overall, its condition is fair.
