Directions/Map Back to Top
From Paris court square, take Market Street / Veterans Drive / Mineral Wells to 69A toward Big Sandy for approximately 5 and 1/2 miles. Turn left (North) on Maberry Road and follow through Poplar Grove Road, where the road becomes Elkhorn Road. Continue on this road for just less than a mile, then take a right fork on Old Springville Road. After 1 mile, the road will take a sharp bend to the right, but continue straight. You are now on Wofford Road. The cemetery is inside the woods on your right, about 100 feet from Old Springville Road.

Travel time from Paris Court Square is approximately 10-15 minutes.

Condition Back to Top
The Parker Cemetery sits inside woods, near the Old Springville town center. Apparently there was a Wofford Store on the road that the cemetery parallels, for which the road is named. There were only two stones found on our visit, and one could imagine that the remaining four graves were probably never properly marked. Regardless, this cemetery is most obviously not kept up or tended, which leads its condition to poor.
