From Paris court square, take 79 East toward Dover approximately 4 miles to
Highway 218 Bypass. Turn right (South) here and follow for about 500 feet. Turn left at Turkey Lane (gravel
road). The cemetery is on your right, just before the house on Turkey Lane, up the hill. Travel time from Paris Court Square is approximately 10 minutes. |

Condition | Back to Top |
The Pleasant Grove Cemetery sits on Highway 218 Bypass, just South of the intersection with
Highway 79. It seems a bit neglected, but its current condition is not too terrible. Some stones could use a
bit of cleaning to be 100% readable. We suspect there may have been a lot more burials here than are marked.
Overall, condition is fair. Curiously, there is no listing for this cemetery in the Compendium. If anyone is aware of a more thorough listing of interments or has relatives in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, please contact us. |
