Directions/Map Back to Top
From Paris Court Square, take 79 East toward Dover for approximately 12 miles. Turn right (South) on West Antioch Road / Antioch Harbor Road. This road proves to be very curvy and has a few forks, but keep following. You will pass Hamilton Road to your right, Olde Tennessee Trail on your left, West Antioch Road will eventually folk to the left, until you reach the little boro of Antioch Harbor. The road will take a sudden curve to the left, and then to the right. You should have travelled about 4 and 1/2 miles since leaving 79, when the cemetery will become visible on your left.

This cemetery seems to be in the front yard of an existing home. Please respect the property owner and do not park in their driveway!

Travel time from Paris Court Square is approximately 20-25 minutes.

Condition Back to Top
The James Williams cemetery is located in the present day hamlet of Antioch Harbor, where it probably once held a tall, spectacular view of the lucrative farmland valley below. We all know this valley as present-day Kentucky Lake. Being among the homes of those able to afford such a spectacular location, it appears well cared-for today. Cleaning is evident on some stones as well, which is wonderful to see because the age of these stones are among some of the oldest in the county.
