Directions/Map Back to Top
From Paris Court Square, take 79 East for approximately 4 miles. Turn right (East) on Elkhorn-Nobles Road and follow for approxiamtely 4 miles. Turn right (South) on Elkhorn Road and follow for approximately 200 yards until you reach Easley Cemetery Road. Turn right (West) and the cemetery will be about 50 yards in front of you on your right.

The Easley Cemetery is very close to an active farm and private residence. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, Easley Cemetery Road may actually be a private driveway. Please respect the property owner and consider obtaining permission before accessing this cemetery.

Travel time from Paris Court Square is approximately 20-25 minutes.

Condition Back to Top
The Easley Cemetery sits about 50 yards back from present-day Elkhorn Road near an active farm and private residence. When we photographed the cemetery, the proprty owner was burning tree stumps around the cemetery and well up to the road bed, which leads us to believe that Easley Cemetery Road my be the property owner's driveway. There are very recent burials which signify this cemetery's currently being active. Some stones are broken, and it was noted that a wire fence sat right over two graves. This fence has a lot of brush around it, which seems to say that the fence had been there a while, but not longer than the stones themselves. Overall, the cemetery is well-tended in its newer section but seems to have suffered some neglect in its older section.
